Peggy I am nuts about SoapNuts!! 1) Washed a load of clothing. I can't believe that you don't need softener. I never want to use anything else. 2) Love Nuts4 the bath. Washed my hair with it and could not believe how it makes soft fluffy foam! I did not even need conditioner! 3) Mixed a Nut with water in blender and washed dishes and fruit with it. Love it. Next on my list is to make the Nut Concentrate....Scrubbing Bubbles, Laundry detergent and softener you have seen the end of days in my house. Even my hubby is excited about this product. Till later, I am off to make the concentrate.

Hello Ellyssa, I would suggest counting the nuts in the bag you were using. That way you have a starting point......each one of the 1K bags should do approx. 330 loads of wash!! Phenominal.....it works out to be about .09 a load and no fabric softener needed. Very economical. HUGE HUGS....Thanks for helping our EARTH!!

I was given a sample last week and I like the soap nuts. They cleaned my clothes nicely and I got roughly 8 loads out of it with city water. I was wondering, roughly how many nuts are in each large bag? Just trying to calculate how many loads I would get out of it and how much more cost effective it would be. Thanks for any information.

I took her to the vet and she said it was from the soap i was using and at that time I was using a baby shampoo. I have been using your soap since that day and her rash has never returned.

Hi Peggy - I purchased your product at the East side HyVee in Madison after having tried the sample you gave me. I did two loads of regular laundry and then the real test, laundered the dirty, smelly dog bed covers! Even though there was not much suds even with the first washing, the finished load for all three washes smelled clean, fresh and soft, and no static when removed from the dryer. So far I'm very pleased and that first bag still has not become mushy.

I have been running a bed and breakfast for 27 years and one of the greatest “finds” in those years has been my introduction to Soap Nuts. It has been almost 3 years since I started doing laundry with them and it has been years of clean and soft results. Many guests do not like fragrances or chemicals in their bed sheets, not a problem with Soap Nuts, and I have the knowledge that they have the safest surroundings I can provide. Being a member of Travel Green Wisconsin, the biodegradable property of this product is very important and so is the fact that I no longer use chemicals in cleaning. Operating expenses are reduced, as there is no need for softeners and a myriad of commercial cleaners. I use the concentrate for such things as washing fruits and vegetables, cleaning floors and shampooing carpets thus eliminating extra product. The insect repelling properties are also a big plus. Of great interest has been the time saving introduction of the laundry “pods” I am looking forward to putting the new guest sized guest soaps in the rooms. Soap Nuts just keep getting better and easier to use. I highly recommend them. Joan Ouellette A Victorian Swan on Water Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Call Kermit the Frog, it Is EASY Being Green: After a short period of reticence, I let go of brightly packaged detergents and put my faith in soap nuts. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Clothes feel softer than ever, and after only one wash. From sheets and towels, to jeans and workout clothes, fabrics look bright and feel refreshed. Dulling hard water deposits and detergent buildup washed away. Soap nuts even freshened my washing machine. I’m ready to branch out with soap nut applications. The ideas keep coming. One bag in the silverware cage of my dishwasher. Another in the tank behind the commode. Making a concentrate to use on the tile floors. More for hair and body soap. Putting concentrate around the pool to send the crickets home. I’m gaining cupboard space by the minute. And most importantly, this may be the end of asthma attacks. In ways I may not have imagined, I feel confident that my body and my family will thank me for going green.

Hi Peggy: It’s about time to write to bring you up to date on my affair with Soap Nuts. Since you first introduced me to them in June, I’ve been doing all the B&B cleaning and washing of bedclothes in them and you are right, Soft, Clean and Green!!. I love the results. I did discover something this summer that impressed me. Something had been feasting on my rhubarb plants and a couple other items so I took the gray water from cleaning and dumped it on the plants – no more munching. I think I mentioned that I am certified for our state’s Travel Green Wisconsin program. We are committed to a smaller energy footprint and must meet many standards. Soap Nuts have been a wonderful way to change from chemical cleaners. For the soap scum and difficult spots I use equal parts of white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, water and a couple tablespoons of concentrate in a spray bottle. Works better than any commercial cleaner and it doesn’t harm any finishes. By using the natural cleaner, soap nuts, I am confident that I am treating my guests to a safe and healthy environment. Thanks for turning me on to this product, Joan A Victorian Swan on Water B&B

I did not have to use all those chemicals to do my laundry and that’s exactly what I was looking for! I will definitely be sticking to the soapnuts from now on! I Love all natural!!

Through the years I have been working to make my Bed and Breakfast as Green as possible and your organic product works perfectly – very happy with them. Waiting to hear from people I have given samples to see if they have the same reaction. I haven’t washed the car with them yet but then I rarely wash the car. I will soon

Hi Peggy, I just wanted to leave a note about how amazed I am with the soap nuts !!! I put them to the ultimate test. My little dog threw up in her crate one night. I placed the bedding in the washer and thought, this would be amazing if the green stain came out of the white towel and the bedding got clean. Guess what? I was pleasantly surprised !!! the bedding came out pristine clean, no stains!!! I am also currently experimenting with using the concentrate as a natural fly spray for horses. It seems to be working… This use could really cut down on the use of pesticides on my farm. Thank You so much, Terrie from Washington State.

Miss Peggy, All I can say is WOW…I washed two vehicles yesterday with the Soap Nuts, I will never use anything else, ever again. A friend of ours stopped in and thought I had brought them in and got them detailed. Just with six nuts and they still have suds to them. I then took a shower and washed my hair WOW…Peggy, it is truly amazing, you can have the most expensive bottle of shampoo, no comparison to what the Soap Nuts did to my hair with just the first use. This needs to be turned on to Beauty Salons, Automotive, Hotels, I could go on and on. My head is spinning with marketing ideas. Hugs! Joan to me Hi, Just wanted to tell you that we are getting about 8 loads out of a sack of soap nuts. But more importantly, I had two garments with stains that had been washed multiple times without success. The very first time I washed them with the soap nuts, both stains were gone. I had used the soap nuts before, but for some reason had stopped. Now I will continue to use them always. Thanks.

WOW is all i can say. I have been using soap nuts in my laundry and as **** said my clothes are softer each time i use them. I also made a concentrate and used it on my dogs. I have a chocolate lab and a mut that some one dropped on my porch. I put the concentrate in a spray bottle and sprayed them down with it and both my husband and brother were amazed and the resutls they saw. The flee’s were just jumping off of them. It has also helped the mut with the dry skin problem i have been fitting with him. It has made there fur softer and shinner. I am so happy that the soap nut lady approched me with this product.
Dick said: April 26th, 2013 4:17 pm
I have used it several ways, towels (WOW) soft and fresh just like you hung them on a line to dry in the sun. My car, incredible, my short & undershirts, they get softer each time i wash. My dockers and golf shirts that I worry about losing the colors, bright and everyting is clean and very soft to the touch. Try your sheets you will be impressed with how they feel and smell. If you have something that you have used while working in your garage or on equipment that had picked up a petroleum smell, guess what all gone You will still have to use a stain release on tough stains or just boil the nuts and put the concentrated soap pre washing. We have a septic tank and guess what this stuff will help the digestion process where the detergents hinder it. I absouletely love them and I feel like Im doing something to save mother earth

Hi. I love your product. However, you stiffed me on my order and haven't responded to my emails. I also contacted your twitter account to no avail. I would have liked to recommend your product to everyone I know, but if this is how you're going to run your business, I will make sure everyone I know never orders from you. Such a shame.

I talked my carpet cleaner into using the soapnut concentrate instead of his chemicals as I have chemical intolerances, He and I were both impressed! my 23 year old cream colored carpet looks almost brand new!!!

I bathe and shave with the "soapnutlady" bar soap . I have a very heavy beard and sensitive skin. I've never had a closer shave and my skin has never felt so soft and clean. I'm ordering a bag of "soapnuts" and will try doing laundry with them

I have used soap nuts for my laundry for at least a year now and I love them !! I feel so much better not washing with chemicals anymore, as well as not having to use dryer sheets (and I do not get static cling) I take the old dried and used soap nuts and put them in my garden in the fertilizer :) I am so excited for all the new products, I can't wait to try them and add them to my home!!

I am a massage therapist and I wash several sheets, pillow cases and towels every day. I have been using the Soap Nuts for several months and I can attest to the fact that my laundry is clean, fresh, soft and I am so excited to be using an economical and "green" product . I have made the concentrate and have used it to clean, for body wash etc and I urge everyone reading this to do the same. I use a bit of lavender essential oil to give the body wash and shampoo a fresh scent. Thank you for all you are doing to spread the word.

LOVE the soap nuts and would recommend them to anyone! I ordered some samples and they came right away, used them up and can’t wait to get some more!! My cloths smell fresh are very clean and soft. I love the fact that this is a simple, safe, and green solution for my family. It is really a wonderful, natural cleaner and I like how there are so many different ways to use the soap nuts. Thank you so much!!

Peggy, thank you for introducing us to the soap nuts. We have utilized them for two months in all our washing of clothes, in the dishwasher as well as dishwashing, hand soap, bathing and bathing our dog and we will utilize nothing else. They are the answer to an eco-friendly cleansing product and safe from a health perspective. We love soap nuts.

I have been using soapnuts since I got them at the MREA event. I live on a farm, these clean and do it well. I also use them to control aphids on my napa cabbage with no toxic side effects!. Thanks Peggy

I’ve used the soapnut product a couple times to wash my clothes and I was amazed at the results. My clothes were not only free of the smell of chemicals but were actually very clean. I now intend to discontinue using chemical detergents and instead wash my clothes with soapnuts. Thanks Peggy!

Hi all, just wanted to say a very big thank you to the Soapnut Lady, for the big sample bag of the soapnuts, I used them for the first time ever to do my laundry and I was really impressed with how soft, clean and fluffy my clothes had came out. I did not have to use all those chemicals to do my laundry and that’s exactly what I was looking for! I will definitely be sticking to the soapnuts from now on! I Love all natural!!

Hi there, I was just introduced to soap nuts last night by a friend. I was amazed! He graciously gave me a sample to try at home. We came up with the idea of adding a few drops essential oil to see how it would work. Wonderful! Thank you. I will be making an order. Take care

Hi Peggy: Thanks so much for introducing me to soap nuts. I have been doing laundry and cleaning with them for over a month and I LOVE,love, love them.

Love your product!!!!! I washed the towels we use to wipe down golf carts at Prairie Falls golf course and was amazed at how clean they were. Haven’t had results as good with anything else I tried. Looks like they are new again. Will keep you posted with other things I try them on.
